Conill takes home three Clios

IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE ENABLES FANS TO BE PART OF A MUSIC VIDEO FOR THE FIRST TIME


Conill earned three Bronze Clio’s at the 2022 Clio Music awards, announced on May 10, 2022. The honors recognized the agency’s “Featuring You” campaign for Toyota’s 2021 Corolla Apex Edition, which starred chart-topping reggaeton singer, Lunay.

“We are always looking for opportunities to connect with consumers in fresh, culturally relevant ways,” said Conill Chief Creative Officer Gustavo Sarkis. “Lunay’s catchy-lyrics and overall edginess were a perfect complement for the stylish and exciting Corolla Apex and its target audience.”

About Featuring You

Toyota teamed up with Lunay to create the official music for his new single, “Todo O Nada,” which featured the 2021 Toyota Corolla Apex Edition. In a twist, fans could assume the role of one of the video’s leading characters through face-swapping technology.

Fans experienced their own version of the video game-inspired music video by following Toyota’s social media channels (@ToyotaLatino) or by visiting a mobile site and transpose their photo onto the face of one of the main characters.

The full-length videos were downloadable and shareable once the face-swap was applied.Everyone who registered and created their video were entered for a chance to be part of an exclusive virtual meet and greet with Lunay, which took place several weeks after the campaign.
