That means bigger gatherings, higher emotional stakes, and the joyful pressure to honor every ritual, every dish, and every loved one. It’s why “running late” isn’t a mishap, it’s a recognizable and endearing part of the Latino holiday experience.

In December 2025, Toyota leaned into that insight with heart in its aptly titled holiday campaign, “Running Late.” The film commercial followed a series of charming, true-to-life moments as family members hustled to make it to Christmas Eve celebrations. 

To amplify the message, Toyota returned as presenting sponsor of Telemundo’s broadcast of Navidades en Rockefeller Center, debuting “Running Late” during the program and helping bring the excitement of the iconic tree-lighting tradition to Spanish-language audiences nationwide.
